The Citroen C5 Aircross Hybrid concept doesn’t want you to know it’s a plug-in hybrid, kinda like the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid/Plug-in Hybrid, which is sold in many states in the USA as a hybrid because plugging it in is a scary thing, apparently.
The Citroen C5 Aircross Plug-in Hybrid Concept 132kW (178hp) gas engine, and an electric motor with 80kW (107hp) and 337Nm (249 lb-ft) located between the gas engine and the 8-speed auto transmission.
Together the engines make make a total of 168kW (225hp).
The car has 13.2kWh lithium ion battery, and the EV mode has a range of 50km (31mi) and a top speed of 135km/h (84mph). Fuel consumption (WLTP) is rated a 2L/100km (117.5mpg).
