Surprise! The Nissan Note is leading the Japanese new car sales race at the end of the first half of 2018, and there some new updates to keep it there.
Between January and June 2018, Nissan has sold 73,380 Note hatchbacks in Japan, making it the number one vehicle outside the kei car class.
To keep the Note singing along on the sales charts, the Note is now available with AWD with the e-Power hybrid powertrain, and intelligent cruise control and intelligent lane departure warning is now available on non-hybrid Note models.
Safety has been improved with Emergency Assist for Missed Pedal Application now standard on all models except the e-Power S, and pedestrian sensing has been added non-hybrid cars.
There’s also a new Sunlight Yellow color, and it can be ordered with a black roof.
The Autech modified Note models are now available with prices starting from 1,745,280 yen (US$15,800) for gas models, and 2,264,760 yen (US$20,500) for e-Power models. A Note e-Power Autech Sports Spec with retuned suspension, handling and acceleration is available from 2,453,760 yen (US$22,200).
