The first-gen Volkswagen Tiguan lives on for the 2018 model year as the Tiguan Limited, and will be sold alongside the larger, 7 seat second-gen Tiguan.
The Tiguan Limited will sold in the US in a single trim level, and will be priced below the second generation Tiguan, which will be sold here only as a LWB model.
“There’s a broad range of price points, and we think with this new car, we can still offer the current Tiguan as Tiguan Limited for customers that are looking for different content, different size and different price,” Jeff Ng, the Tiguan product manager at Volkswagen America told Automotive News.
