The Volkswagen Golf GTE Variant ImpulsE concept at Worthersee 2017 has a bigger 16.8kWh battery that doubles the PHEV wagon’s range.
Designed by apprentices, the prototype 16.8kWh battery replaces the production Golf GTE’s 8.8kWh battery.
The Volkswagen Golf GTE Variant ImpulsE concept has a five color body, and ventilation slats for the hood. The interior has blue stitching for the steering wheel, gear shifter, center console, leather/Alcantara bucket seats, and doors.
There’s also an app controlled interior ambient lighting.
