The third generation Nissan Murano has been officially revealed ahead of its first public outing at the New York Auto Show.
Top spec 2015 model year Muranos will be kitted out with an 8-inch capacitive multi-touch screen, 11-speaker Bose sound system, heated and cooled seats, dual-zone climate control, push button start, proximity entry key, power folding rear seats, memory settings for the driver’s side pew, remote engine start and climate control, panoramic sunroof, surround view cameras, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, forward collision detection and braking, radar-guided cruise control,
The third generation Nissan Murano will be powered by a 3.5-litre V6 kicking out 194kW (260hp) of power and 325Nm (240 lb-ft) of torque via a standard continuously variable transmission (CVT). Front- and all-wheel drive will be models will be available.
Given that the Murano’s largest market, it makes sense that Nissan USA’s Canton plant will become the main production source of the new car.
