Because nobody buys coupes anymore, the new Nissan Z isn’t all new, but who cares it’s got a 3L twin-turbo V6 and a beautiful new body.
The front pays homage to the 240Z, and the rear is all 300ZX (second generation). It’s only a two seater, and the interior has a fancy digital instrumentation screen and infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Under the hood there’s the same 3L twin-turbo V6 as the Infiniti Q50/Q60 Red Sport 400. Same power and torque too at 298kW (400hp) and 475Nm (350 lb-ft).
While the Infinitis are RWD or AWD, the new Z is RWD only. A 6-speed manual is standard, and there’s an optional 9-speed auto.
