This is what the Aston Martin Valhalla will look like in production guise, and there are a lot of design and engineering changes.
Originally codenamed AM-RB003 and developed in conjunction with Red Bull Racing, the Valhalla was set to use a new V6 designed in-house.
With Tobias Moers (formerly the head of Mercedes-AMG) and Mercedes-Benz now owning sizable stake in the company, the V6 plan has been shelved and replaced by a retuned version of the AMG’s 4L twin-turbo V8 with a new plug-in hybrid system.
Total powertrain output is 699kW (937hp) and 1001Nm (738 lb-ft). It has an 8-speed DCT, and can do 0-100km/h in 2.5s. Top speed is 349km/h (217mph).
Because of its small battery pack, EV range is limited to 14km (9mi) WLTP.
