The new Toyota 86 — officially the Toyota GR 86 — is longer, lower and more powerful, and almost identical to the Subaru BRZ.

The 86/BRZ now has a bigger 2.4L H4 with 173kW (232hp) and 250Nm (184 lb-ft). The first generation car had 2L H4 with 153kW (205hp) and 212Nm (156 lb-ft).
There’s a standard 6-speed manual and an optional 6-speed auto. The 86/BRZ has a 0-100km/h time of 6.3s.
The interior is also all new, and has digital instruments and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto support.
