The new Peugeot is 100mm (4″) longer and has a 50mm (2″) longer wheelbase for more interior space and passenger room.
Based on the same updated EMP2 platform as the DS 4, the new 308 is available with two plug-in hybrid options: 110kW (148hp) and 132kW (177hp). Both have a 81kW (109hp) electric motor built into the 8-speed auto, and a 12.4kWh battery for a WLTP EV range of 58km (36mi).
There are also regular gas and engine options.
The exterior styling is evolutionary and has the company’s new starfield studded grille, and its new logo. The interior has the latest i-Cockpit design, and more upmarket materials.
