Just look at that grille! The new Nissan Magnite was originally meant to be a Datsun, but money problems forced Nissan to axe the brand.
This concept previews the 2021 production SUV, and the Magnite will be under 4m (157.5″) long for lower taxes in India. It will compete against the Ford EcoSport, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, and Renault Kiger.
The Magnite will have 1L turbo I3 with 71kW (95hp), and 5-speed manual or CVT. There’s also a naturally aspirated 1L I3 with 54kW (72hp), and 5-speed manual or 5-speed automated manual.
Available features include 8″ touchscreen, 360-degree camera, cruise control, steering wheel controls, and climate control air conditioning.
