The Lexus LC convertible is the most beautiful car Lexus has ever made, but it won’t matter one bit, because hardly anyone buys large luxury two doors.
You can thank big blingy SUVs for that, but let’s just drink this in and hope Lexus continues to build this for a long time.
Like the coupe, the LC500 convertible is powered by a naturally aspirated 5L V8 with 351kW (471hp) at 7,100rpm, and 540Nm (398 lb-ft) at 4,800rpm. It has a RWD, 21″ wheels, and a 10-speed auto as standard.
The folding fabric roof takes 15s to open, and 16s to close. It works at speeds up to 50km/h (31mph).
The LC convertible goes on sale in the US during the summer of 2020.
