The new Jeep Grand Cherokee has been launched, and it will initially be available in LWB with 3 rows and 7 seats.
The first ever 3 row Grand Cherokee L goes on sale second quarter 2021, and it will be joined in a year by a SWB model with 2 rows.
Using a version of the RWD/AWD Alfa Romeo Stelvio/Giulia platform, the new Grand Cherokee has big improvements in technology, size and interior presentation.
Initial powertrain options are a 3.6L V6 with 290hp (216kW) and 257 lb-ft (348Nm), or a 5.7L V8 with 357hp (266kW) and 390 lb-ft (529Nm).
The interior is classy, sexy and modern, and the Uconnect infotainment system has a 8.4 or 10.1 inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the option of a 950W 19-speaker McIntosh audio system.
Other available features include head-up display, digital rearview mirror, 10.25-in frameless digital cluster, and rear seat monitoring camera.
