The 2021 Honda Civic Type R Limited Edition is stripped out, lighter, sharper, and even less comfortable than the regular Type R models.
The track inspired model is up to 47kg (104lb) lighter than regular Type Rs because the infotainment system and air conditioning have been removed. Same with the sound deadening in the roof, rear hatch panel, front bumper and dashboard.
The Limited Edition Type R is available with one exclusive paint option: Sunburst Yellow.
It also has modified dampers, recalibrated EPAS, 20″ flow formed forged BBS wheels with Michelin Cup 2 tires, red bucket seats, red Alcantara steering wheel, and black chrome Civic badges.
The Limited Edition shares has the same 2L turbo I4 as other Type R models with 235kW (315hp) and 400Nm (295 lb-ft), 6-speed manual, FWD, and 0-100km/h in 5.7s.
