A four door Ford Mustang has been shown to dealers in the US, and considering how buyers prefer four doors to two, it could prove to be a smash hit.
According to Mustang6G, the dealers were told the four door Mustang would be available turbocharged V8 engine, and that it would compete against the Porsche Panamera, Audi A7 and others.
Unlike the upcoming Mustang inspired electric SUV, its thought the Mustang four door will share its platform and powertrains with the coupe and convertible models.
If Ford is planning a Mustang four door, it will likely be available on the next generation model, which won’t debut for a little while yet.
