The Cupra Born and Volkswagen ID.3 are very, very similar, but there are plenty of design changes. See them all side by side.
BornID.3
The Cupra Born and Volkswagen ID.3 share the same doors and roof.
BornID.3
The Born has sharper headlights, and two ridges in the middle. The fenders and hood are unique to each car, but you'd have to be looking very closely to notice.
BornID.3
There's a much sportier grille on the Cupra, and lots of bronze accents.
BornID.3
The Born has a black C pillar graphic that gives it a floating roof design.
BornID.3
The lower section of the tailgate is different. It's blacked out in the Volkswagen ID.3, and body color in the Cupra. The Born also has a light bar across the entire width. Again the bumpers are sportier.
BornID.3
The dash design and steering wheels are different between the two cars, but the underlying structure is the same.
BornID.3
The Cupra also has a unique center tunnel and door cards, and the seats are a one piece design with slightly deeper bolsters.
BornID.3
There are unique graphics with italic text in the sportier Cupra. The Born has the same 110kW (148hp) and 150kW (201hp) RWD motors as the ID.3, but there's an optional e-Boost model with 170kW (228hp). No 225kW (302hp) AWD powertrain from the ID.4 GTX though.
BornID.3
The Cupra's 12-in touchscreen floats on the dashboard, but the design fits the overall look.
