The Tesla Model S and Model X Long Range Plus models will be given a range boost via an over the air software update.
Thanks to upgraded hardware (probably taken from the Model 3) installed on recently built Model S and Model Xes, these cars will soon have improved range.
The Model S Long Range Plus will now have an EPA range of 390mi (628km), up from 373mi (600km), an increase of 4.6%.
The Model X Long Range Plus now has an EPA range rating of 351mi (565km), up from 328mi (528km), or a boost of 7%.
