The 2020 Renault Triber is one of those cars that won’t be sold in Europe, but, if successful, could be very important for the French automaker.
Designed for the company’s special tax class which rewards car under 4m (157.5″) in length, the Triber has a family look, but a unique platform, and despite its small dimensions seats for up to 7 people.
The Triber has 1L 3-cylinder gas engine with 53kW (71hp) and 96Nm (71 lb-ft). A 5-speed manual or automated transmission are available.
Available features include an 8″ touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 3.5″ digital display surrounded by digital LED instruments, and air conditioning for each row of seats.
Trunk space is rated at 625L (22.1 cu ft) in 5-seater configuration, 320L (11.3 cu ft) as a 6-seater and 84L (3 cu ft) with all 7 seats.
