The 2020 Porsche 911 Carrera, the base version of the 992, has be unveiled after debuts were given to the S and 4S first.
The new Porsche 911 Carrera has a 3L turbo H6 with 283kW (380hp) at 6,500rpm, and 450Nm (332 lb-ft) between 1,950 and 5,000rpm. The new 992 Carrera has 11kW (15hp) more than the old Type 991.2 model.
The RWD coupe and convertible has a new 8-speed DCT as standard.
For the coupe, it has a 0-100km/h time of 4.2s or 4s with the optional Sport Chrono package. Top speed is 293km/h (182mph), and DIN weight is 1,505kg (3,318 lb). The standard Carrera coupe has 0-60mph in 4s, 0-160km/h in 9s, and 0-200km/h in 14.2s
Standard wheels are 19″ at the front with 235/40 tires, and 20″ at the rear with 295/35 tires. There are 330mm (13″) brake rotors at both ends with 4 piston monoblock calipers.
