The 2020 Lexus UX300e is the brand’s first electric car. It will go on sale in Europe and China in 2020, and in Japan in 2021, but it’s not for the US.
Based on the company’s smallest SUV, the UX300e has a 150kW (201hp) and 400Nm (295 lb-ft) electric motor for the front wheels. The 54.3kWH lithium-ion battery has a NEDC driving range of 400km (249mi).
It supports DC fast charging up to 50kW, and has an Active Sound Control system to plays natural ambient sounds to create a “natural feel” for passengers.
