The Lexus GX Overland Concept has been updated for the brand’s 30th anniversary and the Montreal Auto Show, and is based on the SUV’s latest facelift.
The exterior paint has been changed from black to powder blue with a topographic map graphic at the back.
Although it’s lost a snorkel, it has gained a pop up roof tent with a bed, a built in awning, and a shower cube so you can get clean.
The new Overland also has unique Toyo offroad tires and wheels, long travel suspension, full protection for the underbody and side so you can take it to the middle of nowhere and get a good night’s sleep.
There’s also a new front bumper with a built in winch, red leather seats, and entertainment screens built into the back of the front seats.
The 4.6L V8 has 225kW (301hp) and 446Nm (329 lb-ft), a 6-speed auto, and full time 4WD with terrain select and crawl control.
