The 2020 Kia Xceed PHEV goes on sale across Europe from early 2020, and shares its plug-in hybrid powertrain with Ceed Sportswagon PHEV.
Both cars have a total of 104kW (139hp) and 265Nm (195 lb-ft) from its 1.6L direct injection I4 engine, and 44.5kW (60hp) electric motor.
A 6-speed DCT is standard, and has a 0-100km/h time of 11s. Other standard features include 16″ wheels (18″ optional), and an 8″ touchscreen (10.25″ optional).
With a 8.9kWh lithium polymer battery, the Xceed PHEV has an electric driving range of 60km (37mi). The battery and gas tank are under the trunk floor, and reduce luggage capacity slightly.
The Xceed PHEV has 291L (10.3 cu ft) of luggage space with the seats up, and 1,243L (43.9 cu ft) with the rear seats down.
