Although there’s no official EPA estimate yet, the 64kWh Hyundai Kona EV has a rating of 250mi (402km) and is roughly the same size and profile as the Kia.
The Kia Soul EV’s electric motorhas 201hp (150kW) and 291 lb-ft (395Nm), and there are four driving modes availble: Eco, Comfort, Sport and Eco+. There are four regenerative braking levels (0 to 3), a Brake and Hold system where the Regen paddle can stop the car, and a Smart Regen System, which can take into account other traffic and hills.
Among the Soul EV’s standard features are a 64kWh lithium polymer battery, 10.25″ touchscreen, unique 17″ wheels, restyled front and rear bumpers, sealed off grille, a rotary shifter, and remotely scheduled charging.
Options include a 10-speaker Harmon Kardon audio system, wireless smartphone charging, leather steering wheel, and vegan leather heated front seats.
