The Hyundai Sonata has swung between boring and interesting many times over its life, the 2020 Sonata is on the interesting side.
It has a 4-door coupe like profile, sculpted sides, a Honda Civic like taillight design, styling inspired by the Le Fil Rouge concept, and LED driving lights cleverly disguised into the chrome band that runs along the hood and down the flanks.
The interior is also much more luxurious and upmarket, with a dashboard inspired by stealth fighter jets and covered in leather.
The 2020 Sonata will reportedly be available with a 2.4L I4, 2L turbo, and hybrid options.
