The new Audi R8 LMS GT2 has been created to compete in the GT2 class, which begins in Europe and North America in 2020, and sits between GT3 and GT4.
The R8 LMS GT2 is built by Audi Sport and has a 470kW (640hp) engine, making it the most powerful R8 LMS model. It also has all the required FIA modifications necessary for racing, racing tires, and improved aerodynamics.
Deliveries of the R8 LMS GT2 begin December 2019. The order book is open now, and starting price is €338,000 (US$375,000) plus VAT.
