2020 Audi Q7 vs 2016-2019: Facelift differences & changes compared

The 2020 Q7 facelift includes all the easy changes: new grille, bumpers, and alloy wheel designs.

For 2020 the Q7 adopts the new crossover version of the Audi's single frame grille, which has eight points instead of six. The bumpers have more aggressive vents, and the headlamp shape and graphics are all new. HD Matrix LED laser light headlamps are available for the first time.

The licence plate section has a flatter design than before, and the new tail-lights are slimmer, have more dynamic LED graphics, and are joined by a chrome bar. The bumpers are new too.

Mild hybrid drivetrains have proliferated across the range, and a plug-in hybrid petrol model will be added later. The SQ7 TDI retains its 4L twin-turbo V8 diesel with an electric compressor.

Possibly the biggest change is the adoption of the Q8 dashboard. Gone is the classic Audi design, and in comes the modern take with two touchscreens (one for the infotainment, one for the climate control system).
