The 2020 Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA and the even crazier GTAm are lighter, wider, faster and more powerful versions of the already nuts Quadrifoglio.
The GTA and GTAm has a more powerful 2.9L twin-turbo V6 with 397kW (532hp), titanium Akrapovič central exhaust system, 20″ inch center locking wheels, and 50mm (2″) wider front and rear tracks.
The front fenders are new and wider, while there are arch extensions at the rear. There’s also carbonfiber front splitter and rear diffuser, Alcantara interior, and new springs, shock absorbers and bushings.
Weight is down around 100kg (220lb) from the Quadrifoglio, and the GTA has 4 seats.
The GTAm is lighter again at 1,520kg (3,350lb) because it has no rear seats, no door panels (a leather belt replaces the door handles), Lexan polycarbonate resin side and rear windows.
The front seats have 6 point harnesses and are attached to a new roll cage for the rear. Instead of the rear seats there’s an Alcantara basin in the rear for helmets and fire extinguisher. The GTAm also has a larger front splitter, huge carbonfiber rear wing, and a 0-100km/h time of 3.6s.
