The 2019 Porsche 911 Cabriolet is seriously sexy with huge flared fenders. Although the styling is evolutionary, the car rides on a new platform.
The Cabriolet’s electric soft top works at speeds up to 50km/h (31mph), and can raise or lower in 12 seconds.
Once again the car has a rear engine layout. The 911 Cabriolet, like the coupe, will initially be available as a the RWD Carrera S and AWD Carrera 4S.
Both cars have a 3L turbo H6 engine with 331kW (444hp) at 6,500rpm, and 530Nm (391 lb-ft) between 2,300 and 5,000rpm, and a 7-speed PDK.
The Carrera S has a top speed of 306km/h (190mph), and a 0-100 km/h time of 3.9s or 3.7s with the Sport Chrono Package.
The Carrera 4S has a top speed of 304km/h (189mph), and a 0-100 km/h time of 3.8s or 3.6s with the Sport Chrono Package.
