The 2019 Mitsubishi L200 facelift has been cheekily dubbed a new generation by the UK arm, and has a dramatically restyled exterior and carryover interior.
As we showed in our side by side comparison of the 2019 L200 and 2015-2018 model, the L200 has all new front and rear ends, and an unchanged middle section.
For the UK, the L200 has a 2.3L turbo diesel engine with AdBlue, and the optional automatic transmission now has 6 speeds. The 4WD system has been updated with a new Off Road Mode and Hill Descent Control system.
The chassis is stiffer, there’s new springs and dampers, a thicker heated steering wheel, new instruments, more interior storage spaces, and revised seat designs.
Safety equipment now includes blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning, hill start assist, emergency stop signal, and trailer stability assist.
