2019 DS 3 Crossback E-Tense is a fully electric car based on the brand’s new compact SUV, and will go on sale in Europe mid-2019 as a Kona EV competitor.
The DS 3 Crossback E-Tense has an electric motor with 100kW (136hp) and 260Nm (192 lb-ft) for a 0-100km/h time of 8.7 seconds.
It has a 50kWh battery that has a WLTP range of over 300km (186mi). The batteries are located under the floor, and doesn’t reduce interior passenger or cargo space.
Via a 100kW public fast charging station it can be recharged to 80% in 30 minutes, or recharged fully in 5 hours via a 11kW DS wall box.
The DS 3 Crossback E-Tense goes on sale in Europe from mid 2019. Pricing yet to be announced.
