A 3.6L V6 is now the sole engine option for the Chevrolet Traverse SUV sold in the US after GM decided to axe the LTG 2L I4 turbo engine.
According to GM Authority, the carmaker made the change in the middle of the 2019 model year, and dealers are no longer able to order the 2L turbo I4 engine.
The 2L turbo makes 257hp (192kW) and 295 lb-ft (400Nm) and was introduced for the 2018 model year exclusively for the Traverse RS.
With the change the LFY 3.6L V6 making 310hp (231kW) and 266 lb-ft (361Nm) is the only engine option.
The 2L turbo remains available for the GMC Acadia and Cadillac XT5.
