Available in both SWB and LWB (Executive), the Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid is the second hybrid and most powerful model in the second generation Panamera lineup.
Instead of the V6 engine in the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid, the Turbo S E-Hybrid has a 404kW (550hp) 4-liter turbo V8, a 100kW (136hp) electric motor, and an 8-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission.
It has a total system power of 550kW (680hp) and total torque of 850Nm (627 lb-ft). 0 to 100km/h takes 3.4s, and top speed is 310km/h (193mph). Electric driving range is 50km (31mi), and NEDC fuel economy is 2.9L/100km (81mpg).
The Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid has a 14.1kWh lithium ion battery. A full charge needs six hours via 230V/10A connection. The optional 7.2Kw/230V/32A connector drops recharge time to 2.4 hours.
The Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid goes on sale in the US late 2017 as a 2018 model. The SWB model is US$184,400, and the Turbo S E-Hybrid Executive (LWB) starts at US$194,800.
