Ignore the concept’s yuuuge gullwing doors, and the Lincoln Navigator concept at the 2016 New York Auto Show is an accurate view at the 2018 Navigator SUV.
The new Lincoln Navigator will be twinned with the new Ford Expedition, and both with share aluminum parts and chassis components with the Ford F-150 pickup.
The Navigator concept has a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 with at least 400hp (298kW).
Inside, the Navigator concept takes the relaxed luxury concept of the new Continental to another level. There’s six individual “Perfect Position” seats, a simple dash and tunnel design, widescreen tablets mounted to the seat backs, fold down concertina steps for entry, and custom wardrobe area in the trunk.
Hopefully the interior design, seats, and seat back tablets make it through to the production car which should make its debut next year.
