The 2018 Jaguar XE, XF and F-Pace ranges gain new engines, including a new version of the Ingenium 4-cylinder gas engine, and a new twin-turbo diesel.
The new entry level 2-liter Ingenium 4-cylinder turbocharged gas engine for the XE and XF will be badged 20t. The 20t engine has 197hp (147kW) and 236 lb-ft (320Nm), and is available with an automatic and RWD only, and sits below the 247hp (184hp) 25t version of the same engine.
There’s also a new twin-turbo version of the 2-liter Ingenium 4-cylinder turbo-diesel engine badged 25d, with 237hp (177kW) and 369 lb-ft (500Nm). The 25d is available in the XE, XF and F-Pace.
The XE S has been upgraded with the version of 3-liter supercharged V6 from the F-Type, meaning that power has jumped up from 335hp (250kW) to 375hp (279kW).
The 2018 Jaguar range will go on sale in the US from May 2017.
