A facelifted version of the Fiesta-based second-gen Ford EcoSport will be unveiled next week at the Los Angeles Auto Show, and will go on sale in the US.
Ford has confirmed that the facelifted EcoSport will make its debut in LA next week, before going on sale in the USA. Ford hasn’t said when it will go on sale here, but early 2017 as a 2018 model year is most likely.
Smaller than the Escape (Kuga in Europe), the EcoSport will be sold against the Chevrolet Trax, Buick Encore, Nissan Juke, Honda HR-V, and Mazda CX-3.
The EcoSport is currently built in India, Thailand, Brazil, and Russia, and is engineered for emerging markets. The SUV has received poor reviews and sold slowly in Europe.
