The sixth generation Buick Regal sedan has been unveiled, but this body style will only be built in China and sold there.
The American 2018 Buick Regal will be built in Germany, and is a rebadged Opel Insignia hatch. A TourX wagon based on the Opel Insignia Country Tourer will also be sold in the USA.
Despite having a closed trunk and a fixed rear window, the new Chinese Buick Regal sedan doesn’t look much different to the Opel Insignia and Buick Regal sportback.
In China, the Regal will be powered by either a 1.5 or 2-liter turbo 4-cylinder gas engine. A hybrid will be available later.
