Big changes at the front, with the facelifted TLX getting a new grille that banishes the shield to history. There's also new bug-eyed headlights, a new bonnet, front wings, and bumpers. It's much more aggressive and sporty than the original TLX.

At the rear, the tail-lights are the same, but the V6 models have a new bumper with exposed and chromed exhaust tips, a small diffuser-like element, and a splash of chrome.

Nothing much changes along the side, although there are new sills on the V6 models. There's also blacked out alloy wheels on some models.

There are equipment upgrades, but the overall look and feel of the TLX's interior is the same. Note how the TLX now has Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support.

With the facelift, there's a new V6 A-Spec model that injects a further dose of sporty styling and handling into the TLX mix. The only comparable model in the pre-facelift range is the GT styling pack.

Along its unique front bumper design, the 2018 TLX A-Spec also has a new rear bumper with a larger rear diffuser element. AWD versions of the A-Spec have gloss black highlights.
