The Acura RLX has been given a facelift to bring it into line with the MDX and TLX with buggy LED headlamps, diamond pentagon grille, and new taillamps.
The 2018 Acura RLX also has a new hood, new wheels, dual exhaust finishers, and a glossy black rear diffuser.
There’s three new colors, upgraded interior material, an Espresso interior option, and redesigned seats with contrast piping and stitching. The RLX’s powertrains and chassis have been tweaked too.
The base Acura RLX has a 3.5-liter V6 with 310hp (231kW), rear wheel steering, and a new 10-speed automatic.
Standard safety features include adaptive cruise control with low speed follow, lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, lane keeping assistance, and road departure mitigation. The revised RLX is the first Acura with traffic jam assist.
The Acura RLX Sport Hybrid has total of 377hp (281kW) from its AWD powertrain with a 3.5-liter direct injection V6, and three electric motors.
Extra features on the Sport Hybrid include a Krell audio system, surround view cameras, heated and cooled front seats, heated rear seats and steering wheel, parking sensors, LED fog lamps, and remote engine start.
The facelifted 2018 Acura RLX goes on sale in November.
