The facelifted and updated Opel Zafira C has gone into production at the company’s factory Russelsheim, with customer deliveries to begin in September 2016.
The facelifted third generation Zafira has the brand’s corporate front end design, with new headlamps, grille, and a sportier front bumper. Top end models have a new adaptive LED headlight system, and there’s also updated taillamps with a smoked effect.
Inside the cabin has been revised with the adoption of GM’s latest touchscreen infotainment systems, and noticeable drop in the number of buttons on the dashboard. There’s also a new steering wheel, and instrument cluster.
Other new available features include adaptive cruise control, and the mechatronic FlexRide chassis that adapts depending on the driving style, situation and driver preference.
Since the original Zafira was introduced in 1999, 2.7 million have been made across three generations.
