The Nissan Sentra SR Turbo has 188hp (140kW) at 5,600rpm, and 177 lb-ft (240Nm) between 1,600 and 5,200rpm, which is 64hp (48kW) and 52 lb-ft (71Nm) more than the naturally aspirated 1.8-liter I4 used in the Sentra SR.

To handle the extra power and torque, the front springs are 10 percent stiffer, there are new front and rear dampers, a thicker front cowl, a new steering gear mount, revised steering setup, larger disc brakes, and 17-inch alloy wheels with 205/50 all season tires.

Built in Aguascalientes, Mexico, the 2017 Sentra SR Turbo will be available with a 6-speed manual or CVT. No pricing has been released yet.
