The fifth generation Honda CR-V has gone on sale in the US, and it has a bigger, more stylish body, better handling, and a turbo engine on most models.
Only the base CR-V LX is powered by a 2.4-liter naturally aspirated 4-cylinder engine with 184hp (137kW) at 6,400rpm, and 180 lb-ft (244Nm) at 3,900rpm.
The EX, EX-L, EX-L with Nav, and Touring have a 1.5-liter turbo I4 with 190hp (142kW) at 5,600rpm, and 179 lb-ft (243Nm) at 2,000 to 5,000rpm.
On the 2017 CR-V FWD is standard, AWD is a US$1,300 option, and all models come with a CVT.
Available features include adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, drive attention monitoring, active shutter grille, 18-inch wheels, dual exhausts, and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
