The second generation Ford EcoSport is no longer completely crap, with a new Fiesta style interior, diesel engine option, and an ST-Line model.
A new powertrain option for the European EcoSport is the 1.5-liter EcoBlue diesel engine with 92kW (123hp) and 300Nm (221 lb-ft), a 6-speed manual and optional AWD.
There will also be 74kW (99hp) 1.5-liter TDCi diesel, and 1-liter 3-cylinder EcoBoost gas engine in 74kW (99hp), 92kW (123hp), and 103kW (138hp).
The interior is available an 8-inch touchscreen, B&O Play sound system, heated steering wheel, cruise control and rear view camera.
The new ST-Line model has aero bumpers and skirts, black roof rails and headlamps, 17-inch dark wheels, leather flat bottom steering wheel, partial leather seats, leather handbrake and gear knob covers, and stainless steel sports pedals.
For Europe the facelifted EcoSport will now be made in Craiova, Romania. The updated EcoSport goes on sale Q4 2017.
