The 2017 Daihatsu Mira e:S uses the new Daihatsu New Generation Architecture, a boxy new body, and a smart look for the interior.
Like other kei cars, the Mira e:S is required to have a 660cc engine. The 3-cylinder 12v DOHC engine has 36kW (48hp) at 6,800rpm, and 57Nm (42 lb-ft) at 5,200rpm.
A CVT and FWD is standard, AWD is optional. It has tiny 13 or 14-inch wheels with 155mm wide tyres.
Available features include LED headlamps, digital instrument display, and climate control.
Prices for the new Mira e:S start at ¥842,200 (US$7,555) and end at ¥1,339,200 (US$12,013).
