Chevrolet has confirmed that the new Bolt EV will have a base MSRP of US$37,495, and EPA rated range of 238mi (383km) with a fully charged battery.
After factoring in the maximum federal tax credit of US$7,500, the new Bolt has a starting price of US$29,995, fulfilling GM’s promise that its new EV will retail for under 30 grand.
The Bolt will be available in two trim levels: LT and Premium. The Bolt enters select dealerships throughout the US from late 2016.
