The 2017 Audi RS3 Sportback facelift has the new 2.5-liter turbo I5 from the TT RS and RS3 sedan, a 20mm wider front track, and fatter front flares.
The new 2.5-liter dual injection turbo 5-cylinder has 294kW (400hp) between 5,850rpm and 7,000rpm, and 480Nm (354 lb-ft) between 1,700rpm and 5,850rpm. The unladen weight is 1,510kg (3,329 lb).
The RS3 Sportback has a 7-speed dual clutch (S-Tronic) transmission and Quattro AWD system. It also has a 20mm wider track than the pre-facelift RS3 Sportback, and new wider wheel arch flares.
The RS3 Sportback has 19-inch cast wheels with 235/35 tires, and optional carbonfiber ceramic discs. The facelift has new LED headlamps (matrix LED optional), new bumpers, and grille.
The RS3 Sportback has a 0 to 100km/h time of 4.1 seconds. Top speed is 250km/h (155mph) or 280km/h (174mph) on request.
Orders for the RS3 Sportback begin in April, and deliveries begin in August 2017. The RS3 Sportback is priced from €54,600 (US$58,300), which is less than the sedan which starts at €55,900 (US$59,700).
The RS3 Sportback will not be coming to the US. So thank the gods we have the RS3 sedan.
