The new for 2016 Renault Scenic IV banishes the bland third generation model to the dustbin of history, and makes a bold claim for the best looking minivan ever.
The sleek looking small people mover is based on the same Renault-Nissan Common Module Family C/D underpinnings as used on the Megane, Talisman, and Espace.
Remarkably, the Scenic IV comes standard with 20-inch alloy wheels. Although on lower-spec models, the tires will be just 195/55 units.
There will be five diesel engine options 95PS, 110PS, 110PS with mild hybrid assistance, 130PS and 160PS. There will also be two gas options: 115PS and 130PS. Most engine choices are manual only, although the 110PS non-hybrid and 160PS can be had with a 7-speed dual-clutch.
Inside the Scenic features out a chilled pull out drawer instead of the regular flip down glove box, an moveable center console, and an 8.7-inch portrait format R-Link 2 touchscreen infotainment system. Also available is a full color head-up display and a 11-speaker Bose surround sound system.
