The second generation Mazda CX-9 will not be sold in Europe or Japan, likely because it is too large for both of those markets.
A Mazda spokesperson told CarScoops that the new CX-9 “will be available in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and Saudi Arabia, mainly the markets where the current CX-9 sold”.
The current Ford Edge-based SUV will be replaced with a new SkyActiv model at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show. Reports say that it will feature three rows of seats.
