The interior and exterior of the Hyundai Ioniq, which will take on the Prius, Volt and Leaf, has been extensively detailed in newly released sketches.
Given how all sketches seem to turn out sexier than their real life counterparts, it’s safe to assume that the new Hyundai Ioniq will be tamer than these drawings, but that will also mean that it’s far conventional looking than the Nissan Leaf EV and Toyota Prius hybrid.
The Ioniq will be Hyundai’s first dedicated electrified car, and will be available as a Prius fighting gas-electric hybrid, a plug-in hybrid that will tackle the Chevrolet Volt, and a full EV competitor to the Nissan Leaf.
