The limited edition 2016 HSV Clubsport, Maloo and Senator SV Black models will be the last from HSV to have the 6.2-liter naturally aspirated LS3 V8 engine.
These SV Black models will be the first and last time HSV offers the naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8 on models based on the VFII Commodore.
Under the hood there’s a 6.2-liter V8 with 340kW (456hp) and 570Nm (420 lb-ft). A 6-speed TR6060 Tremac manual or 6-speed 6L80E GM automatic send power to the rear wheels.
Styling is based on the Gen-F2 Clubsport sedan, Senator long wheelbase sedan, and Maloo ute, but with blacked out features like vents, mirrors, spoilers and badges.
There’s 20-inch alloy wheels with 255/35 (front) and 275/30 (rear) Continental ContiSportContact 5P tires, and AP Racing forged 4-piston brakes, HSV performance suspension, a mechanical sound enhancer, and hi-flow exhaust system.
Just 300 Clubsport SV Black, 100 Maloo SV Black, and 50 Grange SV cars will be made for Australia. A further 18 Clubsports and 2 Maloos will be made for New Zealand.
