The Honda BR-V Prototype was unveiled at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show, and will go on sale in Indonesia from 2016.
The BR-V will be available with a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine with 120hp/89kW and 107 lb-ft/145Nm. It’s mated to either a 6-speed manual or CVT.
Roof rails are standard. 16-inch alloy wheels, two front airbags, ABS, EBD, stability control, hill-start assist, rear air conditioning will be available.
Production of the car will begin in Indonesia in January 2016, with sales following on not long after. The BR-V will be launched in other Asian countries later.
The BR-V shares its underpinnings with the Mobilio MPV, Brio hatch and Amaze sedan.
