The order books for the second generation Chevrolet Volt have been opened for customers living in California. The rest of the country has to wait until the fall.
The company will begin production of the new Volt for Californian customers in August. Early vehicles will only be available in 2LT and 2LZ trim levels.
On August 1, buyers in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rode Island and Vermont will be able to place their orders for the new Volt.
We don’t know yet when buyers in other states will be able to start placing orders for the redesigned Volt.
Pricing for the new Volt starts at US$33,995. After tax credits, Californian buyers may pay as little as US$24,995.
